What you will be doing:
On joining, you will be tasked with handling second level support tickets. These tickets will come through from our level 1 support team who will only pass on tickets they cannot solve themselves. You will be given access to the database and the application source code and be expected to investigate issues. Some issues you may be able to solve, others you may need the help of the development team. Luckily, the developers are always happy to help.
This role would be ideal for someone who has experience of working in a technical support role and has a keen interest in database technology, ideally SQL Server and web-developments skills such as HTML, CSS, and C #.
You will be keen to learn and improve your web development skills in all the technologies mentioned above and any others that become relevant, as well as being happy to conduct your own research in order to complete tasks. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work with and develop your skills with various development tools, including Visual Studio, SQL Server, IIS and Subversion.
